This came up on one of the other threads:

http://www.sailflow.com/windandwhere.iws?regionID=216&regionProductID=29&timeOffset=0

Pretty sweet, you can get the Stevenson, Swell, and Jones sensors without a login!

I think I'll still put down the $10 a month for my iwindsurf account for all the sensors, and WAP access. Plus who knows how long this will last... but for the stingy kiteboarder, its perfect.

Phil,

Best way to make it go away is too advertise it on NWKite... I would recommend removing any reference here and start the word of mouth grapevine...

Dudes - I doubt its a mistake.

More likely they are trying to drive people to their subscription service by giving away some of the goods for free.

Also note how they have several sensors missing such as Event Site, and many of the NOAA sensors. Its not a wholesale replacement. If they do take it away, oh well... are there still people out there that don't have IWindsurf anyway? Wink

I got to post stuff once in awhile, otherwise why would people come here? The link remains, let the information be free! (Okay not all of it, tee-hee.)

Mad The party is over, no more wind info on the sailflow site (sensors like Jones and the event site. . .)

WOM sure nipped that resource in the bud.

Good winds to all.

$10 a month for full on WAP IWindsurf, $120 a year... best resource ever for NW kiters.

If you don't have it, get it! Very Happy

So I don't have a laptop or any cell phone internet plan. Does anyone suggest getting the pager? I don't think I wanna spend 6 extra dollars on it, but I was just curious if anyone has it and likes it.

Ive had a pager for quite some time now~ having easily accessable wind info at your fingertips is awesome...although it's utility might be inversely proportional to the price of gas at a certian point.

Dont know about the cell phone deal though...
