I dropped my Phase 5 Icon wakesurfer off at 2nd wind last weekend.
its basically a 50" skim with traction pads and a small slider style fin on the rear. very very nice board that will cost about $400 new. nice and lightweight too.
mine was used once behind a kite and once behind a boat.
I have it listed at $250 for a quick sale.
Stop in 2nd Wind to check it out.
it looks similar to the ones in this picture except it is orange with white pads and has slightly different graphics
I weigh 195lbs and it worked great for me. I just don't like strapless riding

I wouldn't exactly call 270 for a skimboard not breaking the bank. a little spendy yes but you're definitely getting what you pay for

Then you should shop the Nobile Skim or Crazyfly skim
$529 for the Nobile
$660 for the Crazy Fly
How's that $270 sound now

still spendy when you can get a DB for 180 or a zap for 200, not saying that's cheap either. You're definitely getting your money's worth on the roush's, the nobile and crazy fly's are way too spendy, and too big to actually skim with IMO.

quite being so fucking cheap. $200 is like what? two bags of groceries. Compared to the rest of the stuff in KB its pretty damn cheap.
If I were you I would get in touch with this guy as soon as possible...

Just as an additional FYI, we are awaiting our shipment of the newly released Roush
ProModel Twin Skims (TwinTip Skimboards). These boards just arrived at Surftech this week and we were expecting our shipment today, but since they are not here, will likely arrive on Monday.
The Twin Skims are wood construction with a carbon stringer for extra 'pop' when olley-ing them. The price range should be in the $179-189 range. Sizes are 39" and 41". We have a couple of both models as well as a demo of each size expected in the shipment.
We'll be getting the demos out to Nate and Chanson as soon as they arrive.
Will keep you posted.
