Dude, get out to red rocks!! Its only about 20 minutes outside the city. Probably too hot to do some of the super classic trad routes but if you could find someone to go climbing out there it would be well worth it.

On the flip side, you could just sit in the air con and bang hookers. LOL

(No, I have never had sex with a prostitute) Although my ex-wife probably qualifies as one.

I brought my climbing gear for sure, wouldn't miss climbing at Red Rock.

I've looked into renting a boat at Lake Mead, now I just gotta get enough people together that want to go wakeboarding. Would be sick!

Didn't see any wind in the forecast so left the gear at home.

go hit that wave pool. i can't remember which hotel it is, looked fun in the pics i saw.

Mojave went off the last time i was there, water is/was super cold though. As i'm thinking about it, that was an april or march i was there.

I'm in vegas too... thought about trying to hit up lake mead or mojave but I hear they're crazy gusty in the summer. I've got no equipment but there's a few folks down here to bump stuff of of Smile

I found a few places that rent land sailors that I found and AWOC (a wind of change) is just off the strip by Mandalay. There's apparently a sweet crystal patch in ivanpah that some folks found at nabx.

its only 5.8 but you get way, way, way, off the deck and the views are absolutely stunning. There is a reason its a five star route.

Easy climb but after you stem out through the roof and ascend another pitch or two, you have to face climb on these little golf ball sized holds for almost an entire pitch. Easy if you've done a good amount of slab climbing but for someone like yourself that is a plastic warrior, it will likely freak your shit out!! (which is half the fun).

At least get out and hike, there is probably still water way up Oak canyon.
