Ok, it's my birthday and I'm 45 years old. My knee's have endured impact for many years and now they hurt daily.

So, I took a look at some pads and decided to get the NSI Double stuffed Oreo pads and they are awesome.

The pads are much better than any stock pads and did the following:

1. I feel less impact on big jumps, shock absorption.
2. The set up allows for a more angle set up on the board.
3. I feel like I have more control over the board.

These babies are amazing!

Yeah I like em... some people aren't fans of thick pads but I love em.

Some people arent fans of pads and straps.

Bindings offer the best support and shock absorption no doubt.

I would definitely agree bindings offer the most support, but do they really offer more cushion? It didn't seem like the ones I tried had much more than a typical pad. If they do I guess its another reason to go with boots.

Whats the consensus (Ha!) on wearing boots and knee pain??
Does anyone with bad knees prefer bindings?...
