It going off for sure! Don't miss the boat on some steady wind, flat water, and killer kites to try out.

Would like to do Jones Saturday and the north strip sunday.

I got the ski, get to Jones Beach early Sat morning (before 10am) if you are interested in island camping. I can shuttle but I want to do it before the wind shows up.

Also pack small, or bring a raft for me to tow. Very Happy

"Also pack small, or bring a raft for me to tow." Agreed, I'll be shuttling if you need would also like someone else to drive the boat some of the time. If you know your qualified let me know.

I could pick up an inflatable raft or something if that would help.

If I bought a zodiac, does anyone have a small outboard? Like 10hp or less?

Count on four more (2+2) Exclamation
If you think we can manage it, I'll throw in a keg of Urquell. We need a ride to the island (and back, of course Smile ). We will be there around 2.
BTW, it was epic there today.

Just as an FYI Diggy and I discussed camping at sand isalnd and decided it is going to be too tough with a larger group of people. Not to mention a bit unsetteling leaving all the cars on the beach ripe for the picking. Mad

Also there are some people that just don't want to camp on the isalnd and we don't want to leave them out. Feel free to camp on the island, just be ready to make trips back and fourth on the wave runner to fill up your solo cup with beer. Razz Drunk

Is anyone still planning on checking out the coast before heading to Jones for the "Road Warrior Kiteathon Campout"? If the wind is going I may head out to Ft. Stevens early, and then back to Jones. Anyone interested?

Bummer, my kids are stoked for an island idea. If there will be an option for a ride, we will go there. And the keg goes with me Twisted Evil

Its cool we are actually chilling in the Four Winds hotel tonight aka Colby RV.... not a single ATV out tonight, nice and quiet, only a couple of other campers (non kiters I think.)

Did find a perfect spot on the island for camping. We got all our stuff to camp but we might just wuss out and camp on the Jones beach or in the RV Very Happy

Wind was sick 9m all the way till a beautiful sunset, did some lawn mowing Wink
