The coast has been awesome ever since last wed I think it was. Had to take a day off to take my daughter to a certain boy band concert in the city last night but made it back for one of the best days on the beach so far today. A few kites out but assuming everyone else went down to Manzo. Just had to share a little stoke is all. I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!

Rock the stoke. Where did you fly, sunset?

Why is Jones beach empty? I'd imagine there's more ships there... and it's also further from pdx then hood river...

Lot B to the Iredale was really good Sunday with a mackin' swell and 9-10M kiting.

It was a little weird that there were so few people out. I figured all the wave junkies did central to southern coast which was probably even better.

Whales were out in force!

lot B Sunday was Epic - big booming rails and lots of opportunities to get outside and grab 'em. My best day EVER. Went to bed and tried to close my eyes and couldn't see anything but dark green walls pulled like taffy. Seemed like only the local crew out there. Given the "special weather statement" of heat coming up, my guess is that we'll see more of you in the next few days somewhere on the coast, jones/SI should/could be firing too...
