Joby and crew are pulling 10+ hour days making the slider project creations a reality. they have 7 more days before the event and are busting their asses to make it happen. each one not kiting and i would also guess not doing much sleeping either.

they appreciate help of all kind. especially folks who drop off brews, lunch and or dinner.

The Slider Project, LLC

be sure to support these guys as you can. donations to the slider project are a good idea if you aren't in town.

these guys are artists doing it for the passion and progression of kiteboarding. help is appreciated- let them know you respect their time and talent!

These guys deserve a lot of respect for what they are doing.
As Lance mentioned, barely any water time for all of them and they are working 24-7 to get this project done in time for all of the invited riders.

FYI - WHEN/IF they put up a post seeking help with anything involved with moving, lifting, digging, etc.... please give some of your time to help them out.
Come next Friday, they might want some last minute help.
If you come out, you can help them set up, watch the riding, get in a session for yourself, and then come back to the parking lot to help out with the Slider Jam party set up.

It should also be mentioned, props to Katie and Forrest Rae for tolerating welding, grinding and hammering in her driveway for the last two months, and raising a brand new newborn baby.

This is what living and being a part of the Hood River Community is all about.

Thanks guys!

From all of us.

Sweet pics Lance!

Much respect for this crew! The build of this thing is insane! From what I hear similar setups cost $20k or more, and don't even have the level of quality that this slider has.

Big props to the work crew, especially Katie for letting these guys use their driveway!

Oh yeah and if you want to hit this thing you better donate, these features aren't free!
