I understand that this is a risk, but what is life without taking risks. You can sit and watch or you can facilitate something amazing. Life is to short to be afraid. |
You can't sign away.
LIABILITY
but you can pay for the rest of your life.
If you know more about what you are promoting that the individual that you are ??? assisting /helping/charging for
you will be held liable
A shortish story
A guy wanted me to build a short road for him ,
I argued in front of witnesses that it may be illeagle to build so close to a once in a while creek.
He said not a problem so he made a separate contract to do the construction.
I built it ,some months went by and and I get a letter from my insurance saying there is some liability in the road I built
the state had demanded it be removed and another built in it's place a few feet further from the creek which happened to be on someone else's property
long story shorter
the road was removed and the neighbors property purchased to build it on
my insurance company just paid it and would not fight it
because
I knew more than the property owner
but the property owner got a $25K road for only $2500
I still a little pissed about it and it's been 25 years ago
so be careful when you doing favors |
