I just got back from Stevenson and I saw a lot of riders practicing; not boneyetti or magic.... however, I did have a bonetti sighting --- He's easy to spot on the road, a blue vw van--doing about 40 in a 65. Laughing

Driving back from Rufus on Monday evening I saw about four kiters out in Mosier. As I was driving down the hill I watched this HUGE kite loop! Still wondering who it was...

(had the windows open on the way by but didn't happen to hear any clanking sounds).

Shred thanks for the wind....it was on everywhere today. The Sandbar was nuclear crazy.

Rico was in the water all day and Stringy, Stringer, Sales... etc....etc....etc..were taking a lot of photos so the goods should be showing up soon here or in mags.

My 2 cents regarding Magic Boner 09.......too be continued. I know that sucks but IMO Magic was throwing down bigger and more technical moves but he lost a board and burned a lot of heat time getting back up and going. Boner did advance further in the comp but I thought didn't take advantage of all of his tacks to put the nail in the coffin. I don't think Boner rode his semi-final heat so maybe he got hurt? Hope not but if Boner advanced further.....I guess he wins. What else does the gallery say??????

Overall, good day and good times with A LOT of guys and gals going for it all and going down hard to please the crowd. Wally's vid....gives you an idea of the pounding that guy took alone. His knees must be made of steel.

Actions speak louder than words. Your boy magic lost so now all his chump ass friends can pay up!!! Magic dumping his kite and losing his board just proves that he sucks balls. 9 minutes is plenty of time to relaunch a kite.....? Anyone can come in throw something powered/technical crash their kite and float around for the whole heat!!!! But yeah it takes some skill and style to impress the judges enough to advance to the next heat. 6 guys in a heat 2 advance 4 don't!!!! I was one of those 2, Magic wasn't!!!!!

Keep practicing, maybe next year you can try to throw down harder than me yet again!!! Probably not going to happen...... ever!!!!!

You have to give the victory to Bonetti. Props to Adam for trying to throw some harder moves, but since he didn't complete them Bonetti was the better rider for those 9 minutes, and IMO won the bet.

Boner if you think 9 minutes is enough time to show someone how good of a kiter you are, then well, frankly your retarded. Yeah you could do what you did and do some lame ass kite loops, hooked in, about 5 feet off the water. Or you could go do what adam did and send that shit, way more power, but his lame foot straps kept coming off. Man Adam if you were wearing the binders you would have been stomping that shit, no doubt. So Boner im sorry to say but Magic was definitely throwing down harder than you.

But IMO contests don't do kiting any justice. Lets throw 6 riders on the water and see what 2 can come into this crowded ass little spot and land a trick. Crashed kites, different heats getting different wind. I think a lot could be changed about contests to make it a lot more enjoyable for the riders and spectators.
