All this talk about boards and stuff... I just finished my latest project. This is a wakeskate i made for one of my oldest buds for his birthday.

the pad on top is a deckpad off a surfboard. I had to trim it down a bit, but it turned out great.

The red ring around the bottom covers my imperfections in laying up composites.

The board has all different kinds of rocker. Flat in the middle to make it loose, then progressive rocker moving towards the ends. I also weighted the ends with epoxy. It's a 2 part core for the center, divinycell and corecell, the corecell will help with sliders/etc...
at the ends, to about 6" in, i left the corecell off and laid up an 1/8" thick epoxy end. This weighted it perfectly, this board should spin easily.

now is the time I should mention that I don't wakeskate... Smile

Good shit! Are you just layering a smoothing or vacuum bagging as well? Looks like you got the surface fairly smooth either way! Thumb's Up

lots of vacuum bagging. it only adds a little extra time, and makes the end so much better
