I pretty sure this is a series of videos coming from this site. So this is one of many that could add up to something. Beside this is just a site trying to promote kite boarding so its all good either way. You can buzz kill the first one but what about the others. Do they all suck... I'm not sure I just watch the first one. Wasn't something that i was gonna watch twice but whatever, I seen some new places that i haven't been, so I guess it was worth my time.
The world is a big place and even though you think it sucks somewhere else in the world it could be a hit. Either way the attitude's towards people and products is getting very old... If you don't like why do you have to complain about it...?
GAY this gay that... This sucks that sucks... buzz kill this buzz kill that... fuk this fuk that. ect. ect. ect...... It is great to speak your mind but with no substance with regards to the buzz kill it just makes you look like a total choad.
Is being positive or shutin the fuk up; not the in thing...? Or is being a choad totally cool...?

yeah, I checked the other vids... but I will agree with forrest, the panning of half-kiter half-kite was kinda not cool. people probly hating cuz after a title and intro like that you would think there woudl be some MEGA shit to folllow..
not hating, just giving phil shit for posting videos instead of riding.. _________________ Shallow Dive Design, 2nd Wind Sports, Airush, Trident Sports |

| I watched all 5. I really enjoyed the MTVish Lifestyle parts of the video as I always like to know more about kite celebrities... But the panning in the cable vid (#4) was pretty bad, like they were doing it on purpose... |

I think it's great. Maybe not all the details, or editing or this and that but just the whole idea and the fact that they've made it happen.
There are many ways the sport is growing and going and I think it's great for Ruben, Aaron and the sport that Redbull stepped up to help them with this project.
I don't even have mtv and maybe it's not my format, but they HAVE a format and did what they did really really well. I think that there are a lot of kids in the world who have aspirations to be like these guys. Maybe not in USA, but in Europe for sure. These kids are getting stoked on the sport and lifestyle young, partially because of these guys and this stuff they're doing.
I say Hooray!! Bring it on. I'll take a few minutes break from working at my computer every week to enjoy it when they add new shows.
Just wait til june when Ruben is in town busting it up with the slider project crew.. Then all you haters will be all over it because it's in your back yard, at your spot featuring riding with your friends. _________________ Liquid Force Kiteboarding in the Pacific Northwest.

| I think they are trying to make the video more like a tv shows so it is easier for broadcast company to air it without extra editing. Since both of them are the top riders on the planet, I think is great for everyone to see how extreme they can get. |

Tekko has a good point.
Marketing the sport to the masses means getting the kids.
.....these vids are something my teenage kids would really relate to much more.
For me I felt like I was watching disney channel----- but I am sure it's great for the red bull generation to crack out on.
It seems well put together as a marketing tool in viral internet marketing.
The sport does have a much different following in Europe since they have less laws, and hence less litigation for injuries etc. Rare for a beach to close to kiting over there.
It's pretty difficult for the sport to get too big here in the US.....one lawsuit and a spot is shut down.
Therefore, promotion of the 'extreme' 40 knot wakestyle kiting may not be so great for marketing for beginners who get into the sport in the United states.
It seems like kiting in high winds ----and the sensationalism of 'extremism' ----are the cause of 90% of the deaths in our sport.....could backfire? |

Its just a free video on the internet, enjoy.
To see some real kooks dangling it up and not being legit you will have to wait for my SPI video |
