Yeah, N 15 for coastal waters is a pretty weak forecast, but it could happen. I think they almost always have some wind forecast just in case so boats don't get caught off guard. Hope for the best.

yah, don't count on any wind north of newport - and i don't even see wind for newport, and forget about computer Ikite forecasts for the coast...they are never even close.

instead of 'glass 1/2 full', fill it all the way this weekend, because you won't be kiting! Smile

Planning on doing the winch thing saturday morning unless Rooster turns on. Should know by 10 or so.

I think the waterlevel is going to be pretty high though, the latest dam discharge graph showed that flows have increase quite a bit. Or should I say, like 100 fold increase

265,000 cubic feet / sec - that's a lot of water!

Gosh you guys were right.

The coast didnt blow

It wasnt pumping

It wasnt epic 11 meter

I did drink a full glass of beer + a six pack

I better start relying more on those computer forecasts.

I shudda had more faith in the Manzo phenomenon....did't get to the Y till about 5:30 and decided not to chance it....looks like you could have sailed till 8.

Got to Seasdie hoping for atleast a landboard sesh but it was deader than dead....

Today seems very promising! Cool

it was light PC/LC way... could have pulled out the 12, but it woulda been light... I don't really like to play around out there when the winds are on the light end of the range.
