I figured this is the most efficient way to tell the usual PDX suspects...

If you guys want to borrow my trailer/ pick up the winch / kicker whatever. Your going to have to do it before friday night.

I'm going fishing at like 4am and there isn't going to be anyone home on saturday.

Does anyone have a trailer hitch that's heading to HR on Sat for the slider clinic? PMB, worst case maybe we can just take the winch.

Forrest and Joby, what kind of stuff you thinking of setting up?

The boys were over tonight working on the kicker while I was at the CGKA meeting. It will be ready but not to sure where it's going to be placed. The kicker needs some deepish water to be safe. We're thinking the boat basin is going to be our new grinching home but I gotta talk with those guys.

For the clinic we're going to just setup the pickle as a 20' ride on box. It'll be like this from 1 to 3 for the clinic. After the clinic we'll change it up a little depending on what people want to do. If we have enough people getting the hang of it, then we'll raise it up so it's ollie on. If not, we'll just setup the pickle as a gap to the double trex wood slider like we had last year.

If any of you have helmets and impact vests, please bring them!

Hey Brett,

I think the trailer is probably similar in size to your pickup's bed so it probably would just fit in there. Maybe we could have a couple courses set up? One for the clinic and one with a few more features with other winch.

The kicker and winch should fit in a pickup truck. The trailer is 4 x 8 and uses the smaller hitch ball...1 1/4"? At any rate I can leave the ball as well. The kicker hangs out of the back of the trailer.

Forest, we are going to need water around 3-4' deep to set up our kicker as it is currently not in floating mode. We have a 20' rail as well that sticks in the sand. The kicker, rail and winch will fit in the trailer but it is not the most stable looking thing.

I've got a couple of helmets I can throw in the mix and my wakeskate. Looks like I can show up around 3 or so and get some goods! Very Happy

At any rate..it would be nice if someone got a hold of me and made some plans as we are having people over for dinner this evening.

I don't have a hitch, otherwise I would come get it after work. Chanson is out of town until tonight. Could you pick it up Gene? I don't think we need to cart all the features out there, it sounds like the guys in the hood should have plenty of stuff to hit

Yea, even though I'd like to hit the unicorn kicker, I think we can do without it for now. We probably don't need the rails either. Keep it simple!

It would be cool to have two kickers that crossed each other than we could have a two winch, aerial thunderdome, demolishon derby of death kind of thing.

It would be sweet to have both kickers there.
Candy mountain can be set lower in the water in order to make it a more mellow alternative to the HR kicker.
After all, this is an event for people who want to learn and probably not hurt themselves.
Most good snow parks have two different takeoffs for their jumps.

I also want to bring the benches and table for a shallower water wakeskate/intermediate wakeboard feature.
They really are super fun when set up right.
Why not give people options?
