It was great weather. Blue sky. 20 to 25 from the North. Only 4 kiters including me.
I had to take a break and take a few pictures. Here are a few of them. Enjoy. I have another 200 pics from Sunday.

I don't know what the temp was. I had a dry suit. But no gloves. The water wasn't bad. I'd say around 55 to 60. The lake is only 3 to 5 feet deep. So it warms up fast. The sky was blue and sunny and warm.
I was taking a break so that I could take some pictures. Those are the Brady brothers. They are good.

Nice pics! Figured that wasn't you given the lack of a Go Joe... Wink

There are some sweet Brady videos hidden away in other posts on this site (with some good tunes too).

I actually took all 200 pics that I took and made a slide show with music. I figured next time I go down there, I will give them a copy. I would post it on the net, But I don't know how to do that.

just thought i'd mention your a lil off on the temps. I'm guessing it's around 45-50deg. It can be hard to tell when the wet/drysuit is on. The warmth from the suit keeps your hands warm(er).

Maybe we can get one of those lurking brady's to go down and get an accurate reading on the water temp Wink .

thx for sharing tha pics

Well, they had fun. I did a little the first half of the day. Until I got hurt. Let's just say I know what it is like to fly like a bullet for 50 feet and come to a suden stop on the hard sandy beach. My rib cage took the impact. Still paying the price for that one. So I put everything away and played with the camera. I only posted a few pics. These aren't even the best ones. They slide show I made is bad ass. What can I say, I'm an under water photographer and my above water photos aren't to bad. It was good practice.

What program did you use to make the slideshow? Not just one on Flickr, or something, right?

Should be pretty easy to render out, then upload to YouTube if you want.

yup,..friday is when the winds are on. Saturday looks light and sunday switches to south...which means sunday is snowkite day.

There is a quote from someone on this forum that i take to heart:

I have Fridays off, but I have two kids that go to school. and I get to pick them up from school on Fridays. SO I don't really get the day off. That sucks, I would of came down otherwise. Enjoy your selves.
