I finally finished editing my first GoPro video from our trip to Cabarete. Pretty rough as I was using the built in Microsoft Movie Maker program.

Vimeo link: http://www.vimeo.com/3423403

Anyone know how to embed the Vimeo player here?

Enjoy!

Tony

That is great Tony! I love the shot with the local kids crowded around pointing into the lens.

nice video Tony, just curious; did you used the wide angle GoPro or the GoPro Hero 3 camera?

We've got the GoPro Surf Hero shown in your link. I think that is the regular wide angle 170 degree view cam. Just got the helmet adapter in to try as well. I think it will work pretty well in tracking someone and maybe get an angle where you can see more of the wave. With the camera mounted on the board it's hard to get any perspective of how big the waves are.

Hey Tony ,
Here are a few shots of Clarissa Hempel
wearing the Go-Pro gear @ GG this summer.
Never got to see shots from her cam, just think she was wearing it as a promo for those guys.

Thanks everyone! Still a looong way to go in the editing and filming department to get near the quality of Stringy's stuff. We're gonna try out the GoPro on the helmet cam this week and see how that goes. Some flatwater and wave stuff from SPI in the next video! (might be a couple of weeks)
