Anyone getting out? Looks like there could be some wind tomorrow at RR. I would rather go to the ponds if at all possible. Anyone adept at forecasting the ponds?

20kts from East for Rooster Sunday (could be 20 or 50) - hard to predict - if not nuked out why drive?

Isn't the water a little warmer at the ponds? and shallower?

You are right though. I should just go to RR. If it's too cold it's a quicker drive back to the warm house.

The gradient looks like it spikes early (8am) then drops off quick. Best best looks to be RR unless you don't mind driving 2 hours to potentially get skunked.

Forrest is right though I will take the ponds over RR any day if I have the time to make the drive.

Anyone headed out? It looks really shitty outside. I dunno if I can muster up the motivation although there is wind. at RR.... 17 gusting to 25 sounds really steady and warm.
