Thanks Mark! Wish I could, believe me. Sad My next trip starts on the 15th & I only have 3 days off after that one before the next one. Are you going to take a surfboard? I'm still itching to try the one I got from you. Very Happy

If you're staying in the campground, Pablo's across the street has Wi-Fi.

Most people carry their laptops over there but if you have an external wireless adapter with a good external antenna mounted on the roof you have a good chance of connecting directly from your campsite (depending on your location in the CG).

Pablo only charges $150 pesos (about $11 USD) per month for unlimited use - such a deal! I've been on Pablo's Wi-Fi since early Nov and it's been working great for me!

Mark, what bag do you use to carry your surfboard? I want to take mine over to HNL on my next trip, but I'm worried about damage. Since I'm carrying it while I work, any damage won't be covered by the airline... Thanks!

I am trying something new. I put my surfboard and twin tip into my dakine surfboard bag. I just purchased another bigger windsurf bag to put the whole lot into. She's a double bagger! I dont mind paying the overage cost. In fact I think I will put a buddies surfboard in there as well. split the cost between the two of us.

Will let you know how it works.

Thanks for the info Mark!

Make sure you check with your airline website that 2 boards in 1 bag is acceptable... I know I saw one where it was 1 per bag. (Don't remember which airline.) Although I guess if they bitch about it you can just split the bags and use 1 for each board. Of course, you'll lose your double bagger protection...

The rule is 1 per bag; you'll have to look them directly into the eyes and Lie.
