That is Eclipse co-founder Dimitri! He is pretty lucky to walk away with just a bruised ass. _________________ Nick Stuart

That said "wind-surfer should fly higher" he obviously needed to spend more time kiting
The slo-mo roll off the roof - while his friend almost got him did make me sad (dude looked pretty f@cked-up - never good but Dimitri is super - badass)
looks like stiltsville off Miami - good fishing and kiting out there
these guys look a bit better - but hey they didn't go for the glory:

As the wise man Carlos Mencia put it:
Dee Da Dee
I have to say that I laughed the hardest when he fell off the roof, the look on his face was priceless. He's a big boy and should know what he's getting into. I got no remorse for him. |

It's too bad that some think this is funny, I personally dont like seeing people get hurt. And this is not a great way to promote kiteboarding....
hey forrest,....i got a question
i know you like the wakestyle, But I see the whole "darkside" and "danglers suck" attitude as actually drawing people away from that style. Instead of hiding in the "dark"....why not show the wake style in a good positive light to the people like me who need a real "legit" reason to stop boosting hooked in jumps?
I say this cause right now I like boosting jumps, I understand its easy and wake style is more technical....but to the non-kiter, boosting is amazing to see. The problem with wakestyle is there is so many variations to the tricks that most people cannot see the difference. As a kiter i see how hard it is and i respect those who can do it. I just know that wakestyle wont get big until the overall majority is able to understand the tricks and variations. And calling people danglers wont help....just my opinoin _________________ I stretch my wings and pull the strings |

I'm a Dangler myself, not to much of a wake style guy. Sol-flyer has a good point, I think Boosting is where you will draw the biggest crowd!!! I like waves and boosting over the Bozos with the boots on!!!!

I was only making fun of this cause Dimitri makes fun of wakestyle. It was really just a joke. I don't care how anyone rides, just how I ride. I have a blast riding with all of you, regardless of what you do with your kite. That's the truth.
I was kinda drunk last night and realized my post was a little cold... He could of died. I do like watching danglers get punished, but only when it's all comedy and no near-death situations.

| Oh, yea, I totally agree the attitude with the darkside is pushing people away. I really do try to be a positive influence, but its kiteboarding's punk rock movement and it ain't pretty sometimes. |
