Don't think it is a water quality issue (though that is generally good advice)
Astro and his pack of 20 dogs got into 2 giant decomposing salmon last week - they scarfed then rolled in them (yummm!!!!)

a little hydrogen peroxide - 3% not the hair coloring strength gets them to barf it up: http://www.petplace.com/dogs/how-to-induce-vomiting-emesis-in-dogs/page1.aspx

then you have to put them on antiobiotics for two weeks.

I was talking about human consumption, however, a few stiff drinks at U**** Jacks, then one could probably eat it raw. . . Razz Shocked

i think wilson had salmon disease!
he wasnt eating and he puked all over the place the day after spending all day at the spit.

Yea, that smell didn't go away for at least a couple days. The funniest part was Katie, she couldn't even look at the puke. I had to walk her from the living room to the bedroom with a towel over her face, promising I wouldn't let her step in it.
