Hey Eli,

I've been riding my MB(kiteless) all over the place at different local parks. Any suggestions for local spots, in Portland or close in, for MB brakeless. I can't believe how fast the little grass hills can be!!!!

Was going to try kiting w/it at Manzo the other day, but the wind shut down right after I rigged. Crying or Very sad

I was thinkin' skate parks would work great in the rain, when skaters are bye-bye.

Eli, thanks for the link, I was looking for something like that. Just went there and how cool! I'm one of those warriors too!

MB Newbie asks, "What's a flyout"?

Fly out = instead of carving a tranny, which is super fun, we pick a steep line, and fly out of the bowl or off a smaller roll in....so I like to 'fly out'..instead of leaning back in, I lean forward and come out.

Here these is a sweet step up to a box, and on one side of the box there is a concrete slider. Just can't bring myself to slide it, but if I can there is an awesome transition into a roll in that fires you right into the difficult bowl.

I've been pumping the tire to 50+ psi

Question Question Question

I am just curious as to how many of you guys that were raving that Newport would be "the spot" actually went out at Newport on Friday and had a "real" session of kiteboarding? BE HONEST!! By the way I was here all day and the wind was solid 20 knots at Stonewall Bank and it rained an inch plus and the surf was 15' and I didn't go out!! Did you???

Bar Fly just helped me fix my small Octane,,,so i'm anxious to get out on it. Maybe a down and back in the ocean....

jahmbi...ponds???

Cruisin on atb's in this wind is crazy,,,you can get 40mph on a ground board with a kite easy...if we get some good low tides after the sweel we'll have room for the kicker on the beach...I think the rain will stop soon....

I went to Newport today (after 3 hours of sleep after the EVE6 concert and after parties Very Happy), almost zero wind, waited 2 hours then found light SW 11m wind at south beach. TONS of dead jelly fish floating around, the water tasted pretty bad too. Jellies were flying through the air off the board wake, pretty comical.

South Beach on SW wind in 11 knots and 20-foot surf? Hats off to you Spike! You sure wouldn't want to break down or lose wind and end up on the jetty, though. Best to stay downwind from huge rock barriers. Now don't tell me you made it outside?
