Honestly I get weary of arguing very quickly, especially when its only a few people going back and forth. Its an idea I've kept going since the start of this forum.
And even more so when the arguments are political, and have gone on for decades if not centuries and probably will never be resolved.
I don't want to kill the dicussion, I just don't want to see it every time at the top of the page (I'd much rather see Henry's latest photo, a cool new HD video, or neat new beaches like the Nak Nak Flats  )
OT is fun, but arguing is dumb. Maybe we need a totally agro forum where anyting goes? We could call it "PDXMonkeyBoy's Den of Chaos!" ...
Ever notice how if there is an argument to be had its always the same group of dudes?
Anyway I'm sorry if everyone feels like I am being too Nazi. Usually I make might self a rule that I don't lock threads for at least a day (unless it’s a vs. thread or whatever), I think I followed that rule in recent cases.
And remember, we're always trying to keep the good vibes flowing here. An easy way to get locked is to be mean spirited. Plenty of shit in the world to get upset about, we don't need to create more animosity in our community.
Now google "arguing on the internet" and have a laugh.

Yeah PK, I was just slinging some poo. Sometimes its nice to debate of topic stuff. The old growth stuff just hits me pretty deep that's all. In the end, I'm just a victim of a short attention span and a door on my office.
Might be nice to have a den of chaos but I think the appropriate name would be "Thunderdome".
