Well, I can't make the actual forecasts better, but I can make them easier to read, just another thing that's always bugged me and I wanted a better way, less clicking and scrolling. Check it out and let me know what you all think.
Two flavors:

state: http://nwwind.net/dayfcst.php
Plus I added links on my wind reports page ( http://nwwind.net/wind.php ) to take you to the related forecast, same goes for the forecast pages, they have links to the proper regional wind obs
I've been slowly cooking this since November. It's not perfect, there will be odd things that I miss or don't handle properly. I do plan to add the zone weather forecasts too so the temps are on there. Another thing is I'm storing them in a database, so I hope to add the forecasts onto the wind reports for looking at past dates, so we can see how good the forecasts are or NOT while waxing nostagically about a sesh

Mike I think you are going down the right track. Are u going to include Sauvies and the gorge on your Region forecast? I like the breaking the day into am and pm.

For sure, the Gorge, Sauvies, Clatskanie plus other zones are next. I've got to tweak what I wrote to grab the marine forecasts. Actually the "weather" forecasts should be easier to deal with, I did the marine fcsts because they are bread and butter for me any time of year
