Sorry to start a new thread - Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
Where to go tomorrow (friday) around Florence to Newport given W swell and NNW wind? Looking for big (dbl overhead) clean waves - would prefer not to poach paddle surfer waves.
Any good downwinder suggestions?
PM me if you want a buddy out there

PDXMB - I'm already level 4 IKO certified in the UR-KOOK (Urgently Release Kite On Ordinary Kontact) procedure in the ocean.
kiddy Bulae - couldn't help it - some of your posts are useful, and all are very entertaining.
back to the topic - good W breaks on the central coast. Any thoughts? |

You're obviously in the right place. Just go to one of the jetties in Newport or Florence. My main concern would be finding good wind today and either of those have as good a chance as most parts of the coast. South jetty at Newport sets up nicely on a W swell and I imagine Florence has something similar. _________________ The Slider Project, LLC
