Just wanted to give everyone a heads up that I am out at the coast today and maybe for the next few and have demo 2009 Liquid Force Havocs.
Contact me if you are interested in hooking up. Looking at Maybe Newport this morning and then head to North Coast this afternoon.
text is best way to reach me- 503- eight 66 - 2629
Everyone who has tried them this week since we received them has been stoked!!
Had one guy ride a demo at KB4C on sat and then go sell his 08 REV quiver at the Windance Swap on sun am.. ordering an 09 Havoc quiver the same day.
Liquid Force will be launching a Havoc Giveaway contest on sept 1, with the launch of the new website... all those who demo the new kites will be eligible to win.. so come, take a session and see what the kite for 09 is all about.
Stay ahead of the curve... while your REV's still have good used value and are in demand, before REV2 is released and there are too many used 08's on the market...
Special preseason incentives to those who order their 09 Havoc kites prior to sept 1!!
Contact Pepi at 2nd Wind Sports or Bob, Blake or Brian at Gorge Performance for more info!! _________________ Liquid Force Kiteboarding in the Pacific Northwest.
Demo's always available to those on this forum.. PM me to schedule. |

Damn that's crazy... he must have really like the Havocs! Probably was the wingtip bar holder, huh?
I realize you're trying to be good with your wording, but why bring the REVs into it? Weird. |

gregg, why would you head north? to avoid the fog or find more populated demo areas?
let us know how today works out fog wise, because we're planning on coming down tomorrow. looks foggy on satellite, but the cams make it look a lot thinner than yesterday. |

Kat-
sorry no offense intended.
Only mentioned REV because we all know that this was a popular kite and the market leader kite in this area for 08. It's relevant because if there are REV riders who find they like the Havoc, then it's only fair to assume that other REV riders might like it too, as an option for 09.
The REV is a sick kite and I have never said otherwise... In fact, the Rev is a good compliment to the Havoc as it's the first kite from a manufacturer other than LF to integrate the static wingtip pully that was first used on the 07 Havoc and continues to be a major part of our, (and others') bridle systems. So good, in fact, that Cabrinha integrated it on their Switchblade 3 for this year as well.
What's the best way to know you're onto something?? When the market leaders adapt the technology into their new products as well. Really makes our designer Julien proud to see his ideas be applied and modified into successful products of other manufacturers.
Gabe.
Where do you look to get satellite image of the fog. I arrived in Newport yesterday like 4.30 and it was just filling in. So thick that by the time I got to the Jetty I couldn't even see out to he break. Started heading N and found some sun and a good sunset session at Roads End.
Reports I had from the N said good day.. no fog.. but we'll see what today brings. _________________ Liquid Force Kiteboarding in the Pacific Northwest.

Tekko,
Ikitesurf or NOAA can both show you satellite images. Looks like there's still some fog just off the coast of Lincoln City and South, but hard to say how much of it made it to the beach. Best to check cams for that. _________________ The Slider Project, LLC

What's good and the overall theme......there is a lot of good schizzle on the market now.
As my 08's get upgraded to 09's a brand's support, customer service and community will be the defining deal for me because you have to respect how good we have it locally.
Tekko...with the heat a lot of us are going coastal this weekend........I'll ping you to see where the action is. |

Humm, One Pump, Split Strut, Active Stopper Ball, and the SS inovation list goes on... not to mention the Wake side of things, the industry and LF is scrambling to match the quality and construction of the SS WAKE AND KITEboards, some companies have a Research and Development dept and other have a Rip off and Duplicate Dept _________________ Helping companys to innovate bricks-and-clicks supply-chains and orchestrate real-time content to deliver customized channels to scale strategic e-services and facilitate global e-markets which will incubate 24/7 niches and seize dot-com channels. |

Tekko,
I recall you saying something on a previous thread regarding a price hike as a result of inflation/gas prices/etc. Did LF announce their 09 pricing for the havocs yet? |
