Good job, Nicole!
I heard you tell someone you did your 1st backroll, as I was sulking over my soaking wet foil.
Wasn't it a wierd feeling when you landed it? Sooooo cool! It's like: "Oh me goodness, that's water under my board and not my butt!"
Sorry I missed it, but glad for you
Has pkh recoverd from his spleen operation at that party the other night? _________________ (>====<|> ---< |

Glad you guys had good winds at Sauvies. Wind at Woodland sucked. I thought we'd go there so Joanne could practice with no other kites around, but the wind stayed way too West. Kind of weird, Kelso and Scappoose both showed North... With the west component the wind had way too many killer holes in it.
On the good side, the beach has improved a lot from last time I was there. It needs a cleanup on the downwind section though, lots of driftwood there. |

| We were there from 2 until 7:30. What wind there was dropped off at about 6... The wind gusts were plenty strong from 2 until 6. Lots of whitecaps and wind waves. But with the west component the wind would roll over the trees on the Oregon side and create really bad lulls. I'm guessing the wind was WNW @ 5 - 18 or so? |

Way to go Nicole! And, we were just talking about how you're gonna start landing stuff really soon on Tuesday. Way to prove me right! _________________ The Slider Project, LLC

| Nice job, yesterday was progression day I guess... Next try the front rolls, they are even more fun, and actually much easier to land because you can spot your landing halfway through the rotation. |
