Who was the dude that tangled kites yesterday off WS beach? Mark? In the orange Nemi? Trying to get a hold if him...

Is it just me or am I just overly disturbed? Between the buoy tangles, kite tangles, almost fisticuffs on the spit, sailboats, baby carriages, etc. what is going on in Hood River? I miss the old days of when people would just get skipped on a two line kite or get run over by a barge or something.

not sure what's going on, but we should probably get it figured out before some government regulator attempts to figure it out for us.

I believe that tangle was an instructor who was working with a friends daughter and they had a line crossover during of the wind lulls.

Sounded like it all worked out well enough, but again, it is that time of year.

Steer clear of others and your lines will stay clear of others.

While riding some swell up above the Wunderbar, I repeatedly had other kites turn their kites before even looking back and almost crossing lines with myself and others.

If you are going to do aggressive slashing and turning without looking, please downloop your kite so as to help keep your lines low and reducing the line crossing issues.
