A buddy and I are visiting July 2 - 7 and are looking for some cheap accommodations. The cheaper hotels and B&B look to be around $100. I was hoping not to spend that much. Any info on these places?

How about campgrounds?

I think I stayed at Tucker a long time ago. What about

Memaloose
Wishbone

I also read somewhere that you cant sleep at Walmart anymore. Is that true? I've also been looking at

Thanks!

Ted

Hey Man, Tucker Camp Ground is the way to go. Not sure if they have showers there though.

Wishbone is cheap, quiet (away from the RR tracks), picturesque, and it's minutes from the Lyle Spit.
Here's my slide show from a family review of the spot last summer:

Tucker is probably the nicest and quietest campground, with good bathrooms.

When you come out, don't forget to bring a costume for the July 5th 'Pimp-n-Ho' Party at the River City Saloon!
