i had no idea people surfed a break right there... maybe on flooding tide its good (bad if you're in a sailboat)

Used to surf that spot in my waveski - http://www.surfski.com/ pretty sick spot, the tide had to be low and the wave would start out knee high under the bridge, then wrap around and jack up sometimes to double overhead - ended up a couple of times beached on the barnacle encrusted rocks - wapaa!

Looks like the sails luffed right when the wave came--you'd want some power to stay ahead of the break! What were they thinking? Shocked Actually, it was probably really fun for about 2 seconds.

yup, it's a classic..."what not to do"..or a deserving "WHAT WERE THEY THINKING" award. Anyone thinking a possible darwin award winner?

It must absolutely suck being in the line up and getting thrashed by a 35 foot boat. THEN I'd be pissed....
