Sun Jun 04, 17 9:35 am Open Ocean Repair in Lyle |
|

Has anyone used the Open Ocean shop on the main street in Lyle for any board repairs? I'd love to give them some buisness and have them repair a ding on my skimboard. Their sign says they're open from 9-1 but no one is there and there's no number to call. Last edited by cdub25 on Sun Jun 04, 17 9:46 am; edited 1 time in total |

Unless something changed since I drove through 3 weeks ago... It's called "Open Ocean". He makes fantastic Gorge windsurfing boards, and yes he will do any glass board repair.

Brian taught me how to do repairs when I was a kid and now I basically support myself in Hawaii doing it. He is the man when it comes to any facet of board building. He shaped for lightning bolt surfboards(among others) all through the 70's before relocating to the Gorge to start Open Ocean. |

Open Ocean makes ripping windsurfing boards. Sweet carvers.
I bet he could make a sweet kite surfboard. _________________ Pull the cork. |
