Mon Aug 04, 14 11:52 am Hood River foilboard rental this weekend |
|
|
I will be visiting Hood River from this Friday - Monday (8/8-8/11). I was wondering if there is an individual or shop to rent a Lift foil or similar beginner type of foil. I have been kiting for 8 yrs and would like to try to transition to the foil.
Thanks,

I can probably help you out, but if its windy the foil board isn't the funnest setup on the water.
as for beginners, I've seen Gman pick it up but not an overnight success...
I've got a pretty easy riding foilboard but it's currently loaned out.
will see about getting it back soon.
what works best is when I ride a foil out to the river and exchange boards with you. I then stay upwind of you and coach you on what to do, so far that seems effective with getting riders up foiling. unless you're the matt elsasser type, he just gets up and rides anything strapless. btw my beginner setup has footstraps on it.
hit me up with your info in a private message.
hey dangler 800 smackers rental fee sounds good to me. _________________ www.jimstringfellow.com |
