Learning to kiteboard is very difficult ,dangerous, expensive, time consuming,
addictive, confussing, .My best comparision is learning to ride a bicycle, this you did at under eight years old and do not remember well, I sure do, like the time my pants cuff got caught in the chain and I eat shit big time. Or just to ride to the end of the street turn aroud and come back safely. wow what a rush. Now we all take it for granted this is easy.
kiteboarding to me is the amway of extrem sports, lets get everyone in it,
and I kite for free all over the world for the rest of my life.<joke>
Most people have a tousand dollar bike collecting dust in the garage, so if they say money is tight its a lie, People will only do what is important to them, if money is the problem learning to kite is not important, does a major airline captain get to fly with no training? would you like too do a three for one, that means hurting two innocent people for your stupid actions and yourself,
I am not saying take lessions, did you to ride a bike? sure your father helped but he let go too, what I am saying is learn to fly first. needless of your skills , money, time limits, and your buddies trowing huge air and landing feather soft.

Sure kitting is super excitting you get to be sea captain and a piliot at the same time. can travel huge distance in short time, and go super fast, with no tickets.
thou many pay high dues for this plivillage and maybe thier life.
Most all kite boarding deaths inclued a big head injurries , and most think thier so good at it that a helmet is optional, you rarely see a pic of a pro rider wearing a helmet, just as in bicycles if you fall you will hit your head. its fissics no body can stop this action its immpossible, you will break somthing else forsure, after years of kiteboarding as my soul travisura, the falling part only gets worse, and bigger wipeouts means more danger. I say fly your trainer kite everyday and if you say this is not nessasary , go home and wash your car.
People I see really scare me, like the guy who hooks his leash to the OHSHit handly, or over the bar up high to a center line on a fourteen meter 2006 kite in 20knts, then you say put the leash suicied and he looks at you like your speaking freakin alien . this guy loves to swim? or the guy his buddies put his short surf leash on his board, because he can bearly fly the kite and the boards a big problem'?

People say to me kitting is easy that they would have no problem,< right>
When I put the trainer kite in thier hands and it crashes for the twentith time , it thier shoes, thats the problem,
If someone said that learning a new sport is not thier bag, I would really respect that, I really hear lots of no thank you everyday, can not imagine living in a place where people really want to learn must be amazing, do not let people be cheap with you, or you to your teacher, people that learned this sport well was because it meant thier life goal at some point was to kite and live to tell about it. People that are cheap just means that kitting is not important, and some bullshit storie line goes with it. just buy a trainer kite fly it a year everyday and shut your mouth please, then we will talk shop.
After that buy a helmet, and a real life jacket, and a harnness. nothing more.
And take lessions . You will save many people from being scared of you.
I would be scared of me if I saw me in the water. So crazy and out of control its not funny. may day may day, requesting help. ha ahaja ahaja .

taking lessions does not mean you will learn to kite, or be safe. I know people that burn thru teachers like cigs, chain smoking, and are super dangerous.
Sure wish I could take a lession every time I ride, but lets be reasonable. I need a kite caddie too, pump my kite, tend my lines , kite in air, hook and go.

I mean being cheap, and getting deals, or things for free are all differant bags, and pay backs are a bitch. Cause karma is very dirrect and short coming is this sport, almost instant!!! can we make the kite dollar are own currancy.
The most important is the group of people you ride with. Even if when you ride your really alone, try to not make people save you for being stupid. Jumping as a beginner and going really big is easy , problem is you got to land it bitch, and that experience and big balls you only learn with time, I am convinced if you go that high <30m> you better be ready to thro down some fast kite loop or your coming down hard, even if I have not pull it yet, the coming down hard I did.
