Posted the 2012 Freeride Kite test. Will be posting the rest of the SBC Kiteboard gear tests online over the coming week (Surf, Freestyle, C-Kites). If their is a kite you would like to see tested, that isn't in the freeride group, it is likely in one of the categories still to be posted.
If you prefer to read the reviews in print, the latest issue is available at all the local Gorge kite shops.
If you own one of the reviewed kites, we would love to get your feedback.
Looking forward to a warm spring,

In the article that the link points to, the terms 'set it and forget it' and 'park and go' are used to describe two different groups of kites and a characteristic they have. How are these different? I've not heard set it and forget it before |

Shane Thompson SBC Kiteboard's test editor responded to your question.
"They both mean similar things but may be used for different styles of kite. "Set it and forget it" we often use for kites that are more progression or beginner friendly whereas park in go may be generally used for kites that have more pop and are better for unhooked freestyle."—Shane Thompson, SBC Kiteboard Test Editor _________________ Kitesurfing Magazine www.kitesurfingmag.com |
