The heavy snowpack in the Cascades and Rockies is truly amazing for this time of the year. When Joe Urmos sent me the July 6th NASA satellite image (below), he said "...this looks more like April or May!" So I dug up some current information about the snowpack, provided by the government (USDA and NOAA), and would like to share it with you.
