Thought I would put it out there. Going to hit the airport around 7 or so. Should be pretty damn fun cause it's windy as hell. Windy and dry in October... Come get some
because sk8 kiting alone kind of sucks

Stiff south wind which makes for awesome long tacks. If It stays clear I'm shooting for 4-5 tonight

Just fiished an hour long soul session. Setting sun, clear skis, consistant wind and ben Harper on the headphones.

Great way to finish a weekend that started with me shooting a finish nail through my finger..like through the pad and out the nail Sad

Yes he did. That was about the steadiest wind I've ever ridden. Plus hundreds of sturgeon in the shallows about 3/4 of the way upwind on the island. That was so cool to see. I had to be careful not to hit any there were so many. Some of them were DAMN big too! Shocked

Thought hard about heading up there today with the boat & wading over to the pods... It'd be hard NOT to catch a sturgeon. Very Happy Unfortunately I have annual recurrent training tomorrow & I have a shitload of preparation to do today. Sad 'course it'd be an interesting experience to hook an over-sized sturgeon while wading! Shocked

Oversized is not ideal for eating-- you want a 3-4 footer at most.
One that you could easily knock-out landing upon. Laughing

PS. nice raspberry shiner!
