ANyone planning on going snow kiting next couple days? I am up in the Dalles but it doesn't look like it will be too windy. Where have you guys gone in Camas? It looks like it could be windy but its supposed to rain there tomorrow :/

Yeah, we've been going in Camas but it has warmed up now. Shouldn't be to hard to find a place. It would be nice to go again.

I'm up for more snow fun.... Snow is not that great a quality around ptown anymore. May need to go east to find better conditions.

64I think the problem is going to be finding the wind now. Snow around the dalles is still nice. Dalles mountain is probably good but there isnt any wind anywhere in the gorge. Tomorrow looks like it could be better. Shoot me a text if you guys are going to go out.

8PM is when the east is supposed to pick up according to Windbow. That lot just south of the event site is quite nice. We might try the Sandbar for better wind.

dalles is predicted to have no wind today, too.
although it seems like lots of the wind sensors have been down over the last week.
the high prairie is at ~15mph sw....
its almost 50 degrees in pdx and raining, not very inspiring. good luck if you go.

It was raining out here at Rowena. We just went out snowshoeing and no wind. The snow is very slushy now also after the rain last night.

Anyone try snowkiting around Mt Saint Helens? Any spots in the Cougar area?

I checked along SR-504 thru Castle Rock but nothing there worth hitting up.

Kocheese, if you have a sled, the Plains of Abraham is the best place.
