Manzo was sick today. Very gusty and windy (8s and 10s out) with big swell. Hard to ride. Fort Stevens had no wind (it was cloudy until Cannon Beach)

AHHHHHH, I'm going to have to disgree with you on the gusty part of your statement. Yes, it was pretty strong wind (perfect 8m C kite) on Friday, but it was not gusty, especially for Manzo.

Counted 12 kites out at the peak, around 3pm. . . Some very nice slabs to be had for sure.

Now send it. Cool

Friday Manz was 15-35mph (check out ikitesurf graphs) twice the average spread. Lots of lulls between gusts, but when on, wind was great. Definately not as steady as normal, but any wind here in Sept is just gravy as it usually shutsdown after labor day. I was on a 9m 'C' and pretty comfortable most of afternoon until it picked up a notch around 5pm.

Sat was comfortable 10m from noon to 3:30, then it shutdown in front of town. About 10 kiters did a downwinder (Promotion van ??), they had the best wind versus those of use (about 10) who stayed in front of town. A few kiters managed to get out to the windline and kite south to the wind (into the FOG), but most failed. It was still blowing great downwind of town, and later (around 5pm) wind came back full strength, but was very gusty.
