don't mess with it man. Stay out of the water. Not worth the risk.
After 4 days in the hospital on IV antibiotics and serious risk to my foot (I even missed my buddy's stag and I was the best man!) from a small urchin cut in maui a while back, I'd say it's no joke. I did the 'keep it clean & dry' thing... I guess not enought.
Heal up right, get work done, and come back hard when its time!

A buddy of mine split his face open 3 times 2 years ago learning to tele.
"Dr. john" glued him back together each time and you can hardly see any scaring. Thumb's Up
