NOAA Issue Date: 6/4/2009 4:31 PM ...a Severe Thunderstorm Warning remains in effect until 500 Pm

National Weather Service doppler radar continued to indicate a line of severe thunderstorms capable of producing destructive winds in excess of 70 Mph.

Precautionary/preparedness actions... Doppler radar has indicated some weak rotation within this storm. While not immediately likely...a tornado may still develop. If a tornado is spotted...act quickly and move to a place of safety in a sturdy structure...such as a basement or small interior room. This is a dangerous storm.

If you are in its path...prepare immediately for damaging winds...destructive hail...and deadly cloud to ground lightning. People outside should move to a shelter... Preferably inside a strong building but away from windows. If on or near a Lake Or River get out of the water and move indoors or inside a vehicle. Remember...lightning can strike out to 15 miles from the parent thunderstorm. If you can hear thunder...you are close enough to be struck by lightning. Move to safe shelter now. Do not be caught on the water in a thunderstorm. a Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 Pm Pdt Thursday evening for northwestern Oregon.

Seriously though, do you think a nine would be too big? I think it is doable but perhaps my 12 would work better during the lulls..

BTW never leave your Umbrella on your picnic table up even if it looks like a nice day...

Haha I looked outside and the umbrella was pulling my table around the yard. I'm glad I didn't have a kite up.

crazy, trees and shite all over the place. The fields in the N plains look like vertical rotor moved through spots. Looked like some trees rocked themselves right out of the ground.
