I just wanted to thank Brian for helping me save my kite.
I was ready to write that kite off, when the Monkster offerred to drag me out to the snag it was caught on.
He risked downing his kite in "the hole", in a very strong current, just to help me retreive the kite that he hates the most.
Thanks Brian, you are one class act. What's your preferred six-pack bev?
You can fly my Havoc3 14M whenever you want (very fun kite that doesn't sink).
p.s. Thanks for bringing my shovel back Christiano. That bad boy weighs more than a moose on cod liver oil (the shovel that is). |

Well when people first brought your swim to my attention I told them, he does that all the time and hasn't wanted help in the past so no big deal. Kramer thought that you were wearing a shortie and you had been in the water quite a long time so we all thought the situation could be getting ugly on your end.
I view kiteboarding just like any other maritime pursuit and part of maritime tradition is that if a vessel (or person in this case) needs assistance, then you lend assistance, it doesn't matter if the person flies foils, calls you out on a forum, or has banged your mother, you help them. period.
For the record, I don't hold any ill will towards you dude, or anybody on the forum really, any sparring on the internet is strictly a distraction from work. You'll notice I rarely post on the weekend. I'm posting now because I'm in the office on a beautiful sunny saturday.
So glad I was able to help, sorry I couldn't drag you back to shore but man, it was really pretty spooky with the luffing wind and the current does rip through that area. Again, thanks to Allen for driving up the beach and lending assistance as well.
peace.

Alaskan Amber? You got it. But it looks like we're heading into a big lull at SI, so you'll have to wait till the wind blows our way again. (Hopefully the forecast will switch).
Oh, and I already told you I didn't know she was your mom. |
