Left the island close to sundown. Coming back into the city, right where the industrial warehouses start (right before the road work) I was lucky enough to experience that gut retching "fuck!" feeling of a bright photo flash coming from a big white van parked on the side of the road.

Guess I'll watch the mail box for my 10 over the limit ticket, but the lead foots amoung us should watch out.

DrewB you should be fine. LOL

Be advised that the photo vans are all over town lately. There's another one found frequently on Hwy 30 near Linnton [sp?] and another frequently found on the East end of the Morrison bridge past the I-5 on-ramp.

That sucks monkey. I think it's time to invest in a good Radar detector. Pretty much useless against Laser, but should defeat Photo Radar pretty easily...

Thanks for the word up! I saw him too; barely made it through without a flash--
Did Channel Marker get his foil that was wrapped up on the log?

Oh, you mean our resident Olympic swimmer? Yeah I ended up hiking waaaaaaaay the fuck up the beach and body dragging out to his parachute that was snagged on a log about 200 yards off shore. Came back and dragged him back out to it so he could unsnag it. Wanted to give him a lift back to shore but rapidly dieing winds made me retreat before I had to swim. Big thanks to the Canadian nurse (forgot your name Sad ) for the watchful eye and truck ride back to the parking lot. Hamlin was drifting into the sunset by the nude beach when we left.

Maybe we can get a group discount....

Nice job Brian. You could have just laughed and said "effing Foils" and let it be. Good vibes will come to you and hopefully it help's stop official looking mail in your mailbox!

Mythbusters says NO. They also looked at plastic covers. Neither worked.
