Hey guys I'm pretty new to this forum (1st post) but as of right now I know of 1 website for wind (ikitesurf.com) and I can check like Sauvie Island and stuff but what im looking for is something to tell me the wind speed at like Canyon beach or somewhere on the coast closer by.

Sorry if there is a post already I tried looking but didnt seem to find one. Rolling Eyes

yo kalousa, welcome to the forum.

If you look up at top, there are links for sensors, forecasts, and spots. Each one has allot of good information but the forecast link is probably the most useful.

Also check out Temira's forecast at: http://www.temirawagonfeld.com/windblog/

I love her forecasts, not only because they are pretty damn accurate, but she also posts allot about other stuff going on

NWS point & click forecast is pretty slick. Even works on coastal waters.

then More Local Wx for local obs.

Weather Planner is cool.

Any real weather junky will read the Forecast Discussion

And the best part is that you are already a lifetime subscriber via payroll deduction.
