end of may SPI vs. Hatteras

Anyone been out to SPI in late May? I have a two week block
off. from may 14 -31 and want to kite somewhere warm
preferably. Would Hatteras be a better option now ?
Or the carribean ?

Not sure on SPI, but Hatteras is the shit May-June.

We've had pretty good luck in mid to late May in SPI but you'll be on a 12/14m kite more often than an 8 or a 10. But the water is nice and warm and things are still pretty cheap before Memorial Day.

Carribean slows down in May then picks up again in June. Down in Cabarete now and it's been good (80% windy days) but not always predictable and a little gusty for here. In the past the longer into May I have stayed the less predicatable it gets. NC sounds good.
