Recently back from his wedding and honeymoon in Cozumel, Phil joins host Ryan Riccitelli to talk about how he keeps the peace and flamers off of his forum, the successes and challenges of the Columbia Gorge Kiteboarding Association, events happening in the Gorge this summer and the logistics of planning a kiteboarding wedding overseas.

Also any other announcements you guys want me to cover? I was going to hit on the big events coming this summer:
- BOTG -> now called "SlingStock"? (need some details on this)

- vague mention of slider event (don't worry guys no dates)

Also was going to mention:
- Access issues, in Gorge and NW (Tim update on Bend situation?)
- Growth of the sport in the NW

The Bridge of the Gods Kiteboarding Festival will be very similar to last year with the addition of a festival at the Skamania County Fairgrounds.

We are still trying to pull together the purse strings in order to make this event an awesome weekend. Here is a general synopsis of the weekend's activites:

Friday July 10th: Practice for kiting at the Stevenson Kite Launch all day long.
Phtography and video shoots for contest show Saturday night
Wake/rail/slider/winch jam all day at the fairgrounds lagoon.
Live music food and beverages at the fairgrounds with camping.

Saturday July 11th: Pancake Breakfast at the fairgrounds prepared by the Puget
Sound Kiteboarding Association
Wake/rail/slider/winch jam all day long
Kiteboard Freestyle competition at the Stevenson Kite Launch
all day long (if there is wind)
Food and drink will be available at the kite launch during the
day.
Saturday July 11th, night: Wake/Rail/Slider/Winch and live music. Dinner served,
Photo Contest, camping

Sunday July 12th: Pancake Breakfast prepared by the CGKA
Backup day for kiteboarding Freestyle Competion
Wake/Rail/Slider/Winch.

We are still planning this event.....more to come

The last podcast (Jimmy Lewis) had some very annoying static...I hope that they can clean up the reproduction and transmission on this one.
