Pretty good day, gusty but I was able to stay upwind on my 7, everyone else was killin it on 9s. Got a call from the bank on the way home... someone stole my wallet out of my truck and treated themselves to two $400 purchases. So that kinda killed the stoke. Luckily USbank covers all fraud.....But now I need some ideas how I am going to convince my wife, to make this look like a legitimate reason to buy a new kite.

Where did you launch at PDX?? I was on my way to Rooster and was looking over the 205 bridge searching for kites!! I heard about launchable sites around the river but never did put my finger on it. Is it East or West side of the bridge?

Go West on Marine Drive from the 205 bridge. Look for the first boat launch. It's on the East side of the boat launch.

That sucks Nick Evil or Very Mad

The current at the airport was ripping, once you got past the breakwater 1/4 mile out you would loose most of your power due to the strong current in the channel. I was powered on my 9m switching between the skim and the twin tip from about 3:30-5:30, after that it semmed to drop off quite a bit. The best part was the short drive home after the session Cool

That sucks about the wallet! Hope your wife understands about the new kite to replace it. I was super lit on the 9M and it seemed just up wind another 2oo yards smother water and better wind. Next time. Very Happy By the way sitting down to a drink and happy hour just ten minutes after the session doesn't suck!
