If anyone cares about being able to waterski/wakeboard along the stretch of the Willamette through Portland, you may want to look into groups that are trying to stop the marine board from approving a speed restriction on the river. There aren't too many people against it right now and it looks like it's going to quietly make it's way through. Just an FYI.

You sure its a speed restriction? I know that have been trying to ban ballast and wake enhancing devices.

Why do they want to restrict the wake? I have waterskied/wakeboarded through there and it is really great flat water. A no wake zone would be a bummer.

Wake kills the shoreline and messes with boats that are docked. I deal with wake restrictions on the canal system whenever I'm there.
