Arrgh, I was so close to heading to Manzo, nice work barfly, what size kite?

Chooch, I'm not sure where that pic, is it actually looks gorgey. i'm pretty sure that kid isn't headed to mavericks.

I've got something more accomadating, for you perhaps.

If you ever get stuck there are a million locals with pick up trucks atv, motorcycles, hummers, etc etc that could easily pull you out. Strach's subaru went down there with no problems. I've even got video of it somewhere.

One thing that would help is put the widest tires possible on the trailer... Kite, what kind of rig did you have when you got stuck? Positraction in the rear if 4wd? How big a 'ski?

I had Jones all to myself on Saturday and most of last week. Some guys from Olympia were there Monday but that was it. I almost stopped at Jones on Sunday but was to tired from Surfing. Glad you had a good sesh...
Maybe I'll see you out there soon.

FYI: The wind meter at jones is usually under what it really is. Sat it said 15ish but on the water it was near 30...Especially when I got into Nuke alley.

I was on my big kite, T3 11m. foghater was on his 13m Rev. Both of us were packed. I've seen a lot of days where Jonz and Manzo are the only places good to kite in the NW corner of the state. Yest was one of those days.

coming from portland there is a boat launch right out of clatskanie on the right. my dad and i have launched our jetski there a few times. its easy and worth it... we got stuck with the trailer at jones before. and its only a five minute ride down the stream from the boat launch to jones.

that sounds pretty good to me Thumb's Up

the ski can go 55mph, though its a bit tough in 30 knot swell Shocked
