The weather was a bit suspect -- constant rain, cold and the occasional hail burst -- but the wind was great . Good time had by all. |

I have to second that. Seaside cranked all day with rain pouring. I swore to wait to 3:30 and then go out no matter what. I know..."safety first", but we had hangovers to kill.
Just as we were grabbing our 9's, it seemed a little extra juicy so I checked the Seaside sensor and saw that it registered a gust of 42!
So with 5's and 7's we rushed it and rewarded with surprisingly steady winds into the evening. The swell was a monsterous mess but lots of fun on the inside.
