Tue Mar 17, 09 9:50 am Replace kite lines.. |
|
|
What are my options for replacing my lines on my 07 best bar (25m)?
I cut one on my ski, when the kite fell out of the sky on a BIG cornice--I guess it was 25m high, actually. But all of the lines are pretty worn, anyway.
When I look online, they seem to be $100+
Are there any cheaper options? Or do I just need to drop the money.
I'm also too lazy to sew any, and I want them quickly....
So, I guess I should just drop the $, I guess I'm wondering if anyone knows a place to get cheap, reliable lines. Thanks. |

| Kyle, your best option is to make them yourself, It's not that hard. If you don't want to do that, I have some factory lines, some unused, some used. I'd let them go pretty cheap. Say, $40? PM or call me. Make sure you need equal length lines first. Some bars, like the REV, require front & back lines of different length. (Because of leader lines.) |

Thanks, Nak.
I read your tutorial before. Very cool stuff.
I think I'd rather not make them though.
I'd love to pick up some from you, thats a great price.--after I make sure 2007 Waroo lines are equal.
Anyone know? I know there are some other best flyers... (carolb)?
thanks! |

No worries Kyle. Easiest way is just check the lines you have. If the 3 remaining lines are equal then that's what you need. You can also just check the bar with the lines removed. See if all the leader lines line up when fully sheeted in & depower set to full power. |
