When I moved down here to Corpus I never really gave much thought to the surfing but it's turned out to be much better than I could have imagined. I've started getting up early for the dawn patrol surf sessions and then it's off to work and then around 3:00 it's off to kiting in the laguna. So far I love it down here but summer is just around the corner and we'll see if I still feel the same way in late July.

Hey Lee,
Glad to hear you caught the surf bug. Port Aransas has some decent swell every now and then. When I've been there in the summer it is intensely hot, humid, and flat. Maybe a good time to come to the NW for the goods!

I'll be back in the Hood for the week following July 4th. I'm sure I'll be ready to see some mountains and fresh water by then.
