Has anyone tried these?

do any of you have any favorite earbuds? I have heard great things about the ultimate ears, but I would like some that will stay in while i'm running/biking...

anyone have any suggestions?
looking for great sound, with sporting versatility.

Ultimate ears stuff is awesome.
Personally, I would be wary of using really good ECH's while running, sporting outside.
Might be too much sound isolation.
Can't hear that garbage truck coming, or the ladies swooning when running by.

Headroom has some great products for sale, excellent service and information too.

I bet if you called them they could help you out with your decision.

I recommend the Shure SE530's - they fit better in the ear for most and have a fuller (slightly more low end when output is flat) than the UE's.

I've been using the Skull Candy Full Metal Jacket earbuds for a while. I picked them up on steepandcheap for $30 and have been alright with them. The sound quality is really good, but the drivers are too heavy, so they are really difficult to keep in your ears. They come with different sized earbuds, but none seem to fit me well. They always fall out when I'm biking or boarding. Would be pissed if I paid full retail ($90). In hindsight, I wish I had bought some that have the over-the-ear holders to keep them in place for listening while being active.

Good luck!

I been using Acoustibuds (fit over the stock ipod buds)

work pretty good - tried em underwater - ok till you get water in your ears - probably fine for kiting

Hey John, the water doesn't ruin the earbuds? I got a waterproof MP3 player for christmas. The player works great and was cheap but the earphones suck...
